We had a lovely stay with my son's family! The kids enjoyed the homemade breakfast, and it was a nice touch to see the paddock ready for our horses. The surrounding area is perfect for family adventures like zip-lining and exploring the local breweries.
My wife says that additional activities for kids would be great.

The warm atmosphere and stunning design immediately made me feel at home. Each morning, I was treated to unique breakfast dishes that were simply delicious. The owners went out of their way to create a welcoming experience, which I truly appreciated during my solo trip.
However, I did notice a bit of leftover pet hair in the pet-friendly areas that could be improved.

The Queen Room exuded a warm historic charm with its inviting ambiance and comfortable 4-poster bed. Breakfast offered delightful gingerbread pancakes, and the outdoor dining area was lovely. There's a slight need for better cleanliness in some pet-friendly areas, though it didn't overshadow the overall experience.

An unforgettable stay with fantastic breakfasts!
Our stay was absolutely delightful! We loved the cozy ambiance of the Library Room, which featured an amazing bed that felt like sleeping on clouds. Every morning we enjoyed a remarkable breakfast, with unique dishes like homemade scones and a delicious egg dish made from fresh ingredients right from the property. The welcoming hosts, Kit and Robin, truly made us feel at home and offered fantastic suggestions for local activities. If I had to suggest an improvement, it would be for a few more seating options in the outdoor area for relaxation.

The Queen Room at Pheasant Field felt historic yet cozy. The 220-year-old charm combined with modern updates made for a unique stay. The 4-poster bed provided a comfortable night's sleep. Breakfast featured gingerbread pancakes that were a delightful treat. The owners, Robin and Kyle, were welcoming and quick to provide recommendations for restaurants in the area. However, the pet-friendly room had some surfaces with leftover dog hair, which could have been better cleaned. It didn't ruin my stay, but it's worth mentioning for future guests.
